Creating a payment request requires an activated LaddrPay account*.
*If you haven't yet had your onboarding call or received your 'Your account is now active!' email please get in touch with our support team either through live chat or by leaving a message in your account using the green button in the bottom right of every page or by emailing support@limepayladdr.zendesk.com
Creating a payment request can be done through your mobile phone or on your computer using the following steps:
Step 1: Log into your account at https://merchant.limepay.com.au/laddrpay/login
Step 2: Click the green 'Create New Order' button
TIP - Make sure you're in the orders menu or the 'Create New Order' button won't be present.
Step 3: Build your order
The build your order step involves adding the billable items to your payment request. Click on 'add new item', then add the item name, cost (ex GST) and quantity then hit Save to add the item. Repeat this for all items you are changing for.
Once you've added all items hit Next.
TIP - If you want to add items that are free of have no cost to your order, simply add a $0 cost for the item.
Step 4: Order Details
To complete order details fill all mandatory fields, double check the order amounts and total, then hit Next.
TIP - Your order number can be anything. Usually this is going to be your invoice number so as to keep things all lined up but can also be a job number, job address or customer name.
TIP - Double check your customers email and phone number as they'll receive the payment request to the details you enter.
Step 5: Confirm order
The final step in creating a payment request is to double check all the details on the request and then to choose a method of capturing payment. You'll have 2 options as outlined below.
The Send button
The send button will send an email and an SMS to the details you entered while creating the request. Your customer can then click the link in either the email or SMS to complete payment.
The Process button
Clicking the process button will allow you to take payment from the customer using the device you're sending the request from. This is ideal if you are in front of the customer but may require you to hand your device over to the customer so they can complete their details and card information.
Your payment will now appear under Unpaid orders on your LaddrPay dashboard Orders screen.
TIP - If you've sent a payment request, you can still process the payment on your device by finding the order in the orders menu, clicking the arrow to the right of the order and pressing 'Process payment now'.
